In Brussels and over the language border in a\ntwo-dayer: Friday 24 February in the AB and Saturday 25\nFebruary in the Bota.Tickets for 1 day cost €10 in presale\nand €13 at the door. Elke De Mey in everyday life but as\nalias Love Like Birds and according to Cutting Edge:\n'straffe fluisterfolk\, slaapkamerpop\, warme\nfolksound.' Her Heavy Heart was also found to be good by\nvi.be\, Studio Brussel and Radio 1!7:40 Orangerie: Zoft\nTwo-member bands aren't always rock formations. It's\nquite difficult to make that point with The White Stripes\,\nBlood Red Shoes and The Black Box Revelation in mind but duo\nZoft from Brussels is the finest example\, with their mad\ncombination of drum and guitar. The psychedelic riffs and\nbiting drums are attuned to the hyperkinetic strobe lights\nthat the band uses during their shows. The insane\,\nexperimental music is also synonymous with one great chaos.\nThey've recently played every corner of Europe and now\nreturn to their homeland for the launch of “Electrically\nHauted”\, Zoft’s first LP. 8:30 Rotonde: Birds That\nChange Colour They were fabulous last summer at the\nFeeërieën festival with their psychedelic folk and\npleasingly crazy packaging (plus Nathalie and Jorunn from\nLaïs amongst the members); 'On Recording The Sun'\,\nthat's the title of their hot CD. 9:20 Orangerie:\nCustoms At the end of 2011 in a jam-packed ABBox on the\noccasion of their new CD 'Harlequins Of Love' and\nimmediately a smashing success along with even more catchy\nsingles in the now long row of 'Rex'\,\n'Justine'\, 'The Matador'\, 'Shut Up\nNarcissus'\, 'Harlequins'\,\n'Toupee'...10:30 Rotonde: Dan San In 2010\, their\nfirst EP “Pillow” immediately assured the Dan San\nmembers from Luik of a spot in Belgium's colourful\nmusical landscape! Their acoustic folk is based upon\ndreamy\, melancholy melodies and arresting rhythms. The\nvocals are intriguing and – combined with guitar\,\npercussion on cajon\, harmonica and clarinet - simply\nexceptional! The band is a part of the JauneOrange\ncollective and recently won the Verdur Rock competition.\nThey've previously performed as support act to the likes\nof Beirut and Bat For Lashes during Les Nuits and also\nappeared at Les Ardentes in 2010! For us\, that says more\nthan enough!
