British folk-rock stripped-down and acoustic
The Leisure Society started out in 2016 with a 3 week tour of Italy and a ‘stripped down’ and acoustic cast of musians consisting of the 3 founding members: Nick Hemming, Christian Hardy and Mike Siddell.
Their ‘Trip To Italy’ seems to have been extremely inspiring and gave them the chance to take on the songs from their 4 albums in an entirely different manner. After their performances, they went outside to play after-shows on the piazzas. The ideal way to try out new material, apparently.
Before going to record a new album in France later this year, they bring their Italian experiences back to their homeland (UK) and Belgium, where they will play a few exclusive acoustic shows. On October 15 they’ll be appearing in AB’s ‘living-room’, Huis23, for what will no doubt be a unique experience for the band and their fans.
