For fans of Angel Olson, Laura Marling and Mazzy Star

(The Guardian)
‘Spirituele, donkere country voor maanloze nachten. Alsook: In de armen van slowcore vallende folk.’

We can never get enough of young songwriters like Nadia Reid from New Zealand. And we’re apparently not the only ones. Mojo described her debut ‘Listen To Formation, Look For The Signs’ as ‘A Wonderful album’ and Uncut was equally impressed, with the words: ‘An impeccable debut.’ Her musical bias is along the same lines as folk but it sounds so current that she will no doubt also convince fans of Angel Olson, Laura Marling, Gillian Welch or Matthew E. White.
