Fantastic double-bill full of female-fronted indie-pop!
Few Bits
Belgium’s pride, Few Bits came into being in the slipstream of bands like Warpaint and Beach House. The band encompassing creative motor Karolien Van Ransbeeck surfs on a wave of dreamy indie-pop, mysterious melodies and even a dash of psychedelica. New album ‘Big Sparks’ also reflects that: you drown in a 10-member ocean of exquisite indie-pop songs and wonderful harmonies, culminating in singles ‘Summer Sun’ and ‘Do Your Best’.
Aside from the class that they radiated as support-act to the likes of The War On Drugs, The Lemonheads and Vampire Weekend, Few Bits also proved their rock solid live reputation with five stars for the show at Pukkelpop. Currently still unknown in Belgium but have raised quite a few eyebrows elsewhere. Time to conquer Belgium too!
