‘pure songs that touch the heart’
His name probably doesn't mean much to you but this 25-year-old singer-songwriter has achieved pretty much everything there is to achieve as a new musician amongst our Northern Neighbours: Shows in many a living-room, in all of The Netherlands' important clubs and (last summer) at all the major festivals too. He won the audience prize of De Grote Prijs Van Nederland (pretty much Holland's Humo’s Rock Rally), received rave reviews in De Volkskrant and Oor, you could see him in a number of TV programmes, including De Wereld Draait Door,….
It all happened fast in Holland for Volendammer Kees Voorman (his real name) and he's now totally ready to come win the hearts of those who enjoy the better songwriter work in Belgium too.
Just the thing for fans of Ryan Adams, The Bony King of Nowhere or Ray LaMontagne. Exclusive in Huis 23, where he will play the best of his album ‘The Many Coloured Beasts’ (which was released earlier this year) as well as new work, because this busy bee can't sit still and already has a 2nd album ready and waiting.
