This set covers Nick's career from Brinsley Schwarz (Peace, Love And Understanding) through to his latest CD (At My Age)
The DVD will be of particular interest to fans as it includes a complete live concert from 2007 at the Ancienne Belgique and 9 original videos from the 70s/80s.

Thirty-three-and-a-third years separate the first and last tracks of this swinging anthology - a third of a century no less, during which time Nick Lowe has evolved from earnest pub rocking prefect into groovy old boy with jazz quiff and relaxed vocal. Although he attends the occasional reunion, Lowe can no longer be found boogieing behind the bike sheds. Today, he resides in the uppermost reaches of the school’s songwriter wing and shares the dorm with few. Starting with The Brinsley's version of Nick's classic (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding through to cuts from 2008s At My Age, this is the only Nick Best Of in the marketplace.

Ook Steve Wynn, vorig najaar op tour met zijn geweldig dragon bridge orchestra was zo tevreden over the AB recording dat hij aanstaande maandag een live CD en DVD uitbrengt. Het enige moeilijke was blijkbaar een gepaste titel vinden, met reden, dixit Steve:  "I really have to take this opportunity to pat everyone over there at the AB on the back:  the visuals and editing and sound and recording is all so fantastic.  This is going to be a really great release.  The only thing is that I can't call it Live At The Ancienne Belgique because I've done that BEFORE!  It will be simply "Live In Brussels" this time.

De eerste artiest die niet één maar tweemaal een liveplaat uitbrengt opgenomen te AB, is bij deze een feit.
