Towering pianist Adrian Klumpes strikes an imposing figure, never more so than when seated behind the keys of a piano. Or, more accurately, when manipulating his piano and other electronic keyboards, or perhaps behind a computer terminal, editing and recomposing his abstract ivory-based instrumentals. A member of renowned Australian jazz-meets-electronica-meets-ambience trio Triosk, Klumpes' own work takes these tinkered-with tinklings a step further, pushing his sounds a little deeper into space.
