General conditions relating to consultation of the AB website
We ask you to read the general conditions carefully. By accessing the AB website, by visiting it or making use of the AB website, you are accepting these general conditions. These general conditions are liable to change. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not access the AB website, or visit it or make use of the AB website or the information included in it.
Definition and general access rules
The "AB website" means this website, as published by vzw. Ancienne Belgique asbl, Anspachlaan 110, 1000 Brussels and all information and material that is contained on the AB website. Certain parts or pages of the AB website contain separate and/or additional conditions, which supplement these general conditions. In the event of contradiction, the separate and/or additional conditions shall take precedence over these general conditions with regard to those parts or pages. The AB website also contains links to websites of third parties. vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl declines any liability with regard to information or material that is put on one of the sites linked to the AB website. The fact that a link is created to a website of a third party or that a third party website is allowed to contain a link to the AB website does not mean that vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl approves or recommends the products or services offered, nor does it give an implicit or explicit judgement in relation to the accuracy and/or reliability of that information which, directly or indirectly, can be found on the websites of third parties or with regard to the reliability and/or decency of third parties. The content of the AB website is liable to change. Not all products and services are available in all geographical areas. Website content
In addition to providing general information with regard to the programme and operation of the vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl, the purpose of this website is to allow visitors to the AB-website to find information about the events for which tickets are on sale, and to order tickets for events supported by Ancienne Belgique. The information available on the AB website is exclusively intended for information and commercial purposes relting to the events organized and the sale of tickets for the events. If transactions are not yet recorded by vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl, it will do everything possible to check and update regularly the information that is available on the AB website and liable to change, specifically with regard to tickets for events that are on sale on the AB website. vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl will not be liable for whatever reason, contractual or otherwise, for any direct or indirect loss that you have sustained and which is the consequence of access to, visiting or use of the AB website, except in the case of a malicious act or serious negligence by vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl.

Unless you notify us of your objection by writing to vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl or this is recorded when you register on the AB mailing list or in the AB Community, this information will also enable us to send you interesting special offers so that you can derive maximum benefit from the advantages associated with the AB website or one of the services provided by vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl. Applicable law and competent court
Your access to, visit of or use of the AB website and these general conditions are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the Courts of Brussels shall have sole jurisdiction.
Autonomy and amendments
If certain clauses of these general conditions with regard to the consultation of the AB website should be considered unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall continue to apply regardless, and the unenforceable clause shall be replaced by an enforceable clause that most closely resembles the underlying intentions of the unenforceable clause. This contract shall form part of all other contracts that you have or will enter into with vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl. vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl may amend these general conditoins at any time, with immediate effect and without giving notice.
General Sales Conditions
vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl acts as the organisor of its own AB concerts and AB events. Ancienne Belgique also acts as a service provider with regard to ticket sales for its own AB concerts and AB events.
vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl also acts as a service provider for the organisers of events, hall hirers/event organizers, but in so doing cannot be held responsible for changes by the hall hirers/event organizers of date, location or price or for cancellation of the event.
Tickets will only be refunded or exchanged if the event is cancelled. The tickets must be sent within two weeks of the event to vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl, Bd. Anspachlaan 110, 1000 Brussels, mentioning the purchaser's name, address, account number and name of the event. Reservation fees and postage charges are not refundable.
To combat misuse, tickets which have been lost must be reported the day BEFORE the concert in question - at the very latest - either by Telephone (+32 (0)2 548 24 24) or by e-mail (info@abconcerts.be). For guaranteed deliveries, the customer is insured for a refund or new tickets in the event of non-delivery.
After receipt of the payment of the amount shown on the request for payment, Ancienne Belgique shall make the booking and send out the tickets.
If the time available is too short to send out the tickets, there is the possibility of collecting your tickets at the ticket office at the hall on the evening of the performance or event. Any uncollected tickets on the day of the performance or the event will be considered sold and will not be refunded.
The booking offer is valid on condition that the payment period mentioned is respected. This period will be very strictly applied if an event, or a particular price category for an event, is nearly sold-out. vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl has the right to cancel this offer if the payment period is not respected.
In the event of the booking offer being withdrawn, vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl may charge the addressee the administrative costs equivalent to the reservation fee and the postage.
A person or company which makes the reservation is considered as the principal, and is bound to pay for the order, even if this has to be ordered from a third party and forwarded.
Our products, including tickets and merchandising material, remain our exclusive property, both intellectual and physical. As a result, any reprinting or copying in any form whatever and using any process whatever is strictly prohibited. It is prohibited to resell the tickets or supply them to third parties for commercial reasons. In the event that the tickets weren't obtained via the official sales channels, then the Ancienne Belgique vzw reserves the right to refuse entry.
There is no reneging condition for online ticket sales. The tickets bought online via www.abconcerts.be for concerts in the AB cannot be exchanged or refunded, except in the event of cancellation or postponement of the event.
All VAT and other taxes are payable by the purchaser.
In accordance with the legal provisions, vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl is allowed to record your addresses in the database of vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl. This data may be passed on to third parties, but you may refuse this by contacting our customer service (vzw Ancienne Belgique asbl, Dienst Promotie, Bd. Anspachlaan 110,1000 Brussels). You always have a right of inspection and correction, and for additional information you can consult the public register.
The courts of the Brussels legal district shall have sole jurisdiction to settle any disputes. Belgian law shall apply.
Customers acknowledge that they have read and accept these general terms and conditions when paying for their reservations.
Community forum
Your reactions on the AB website may not contain matter that conflicts with the civil order or good manners, that discriminates or is in any other way unacceptable in a democratic society. The content placed by users on the web-platform does not reflect the view, opinion or advice of Ancienne Belgique. At any given time, AB retains the right to refuse reactions and not make them available on the internet, so too to remove from the site any previously available reactions.
As user of the community forum you may only send or receive permissible, non-commercial, personal messages and information. The community forum is no place for the active promotion of activities of other organisations who do not work together with AB.
Remain respectful and loyal in your contact with other users and respect their rights. Hurtful, slanderous or insulting comments that harm the honour and good name of an individual are not permitted. Annoying other users with spam-messages or stalking will not be tolerated either. AB wants to create a community in which kindred spirits can exchange ideas in an enjoyable manner and can further expand their musical horizons.
AB can, without prior warning or explanation, remove unlawful messages or information which forms an infringement upon the rights of others or Belgian legislation. A user who does not abide by the rules can in the same way be denied access to the weblogs. Problems can be reported here.
