Rock and photography, it's always been a successful marriage, rock-photography is an art-form in itself. The AB has invested in musical talent for decades and  now also wants to give promising young talent the chance to fully flourish.

Alex Vanhee will take the new AB In-house Photographer under his wing, for the 2009-2010 season. Julie Haelemeersch was retained from more than 200 candidates and a few heavy pre-selections.

The expression in her concert images was what finally decided the matter and made the jury grasp the words 'promising' and 'future'.

Félicitations! De mon côté cette candidature m'a rapporté beaucoup de visites sur mon blog. Garde en tête cette devise: "il n'y a pas de bon ou mauvais photographe amateur". Rien de tel que l'officiel, encore bravo à Julie...
