White Denim from Austin, Texas, have been working at it for a while and without looking back: 5 albums released in 4 years time, of which their latest ‘D’ is a true trip through decades of exciting American rock music. An album full of seventies rock, psychedelica, Americana, yes even country, and all of that cast into twisted, adventurous jams. Of such high quality that none less than Wilco took them along on tour in early 2011. After a stunning concert at Pukkelpop, the band is coming to the ABClub for a phenomenal trip through America’s musical heritage.

Support-act will be White Arrows from America, 'the blackest "white" band', according to their own website. Think: lo-fi psychedelic tropicalia. ‘Despite playing a Vampire Weekend brand of indie with subtle touches of those African or Calypso tonalities the aforementioned Brooklynites are famous for, L.A.'s White Arrows rock that much harder’.
