‘Live Music’ (as in ‘music to live to’), that's how simple the title of the latest The Strange Boys album is. With this new album the foursome from Austin, Texas, have managed to grow through many genres and present a series of songs in which the piano often plays a leading role. If you still want some musical references then the list will soon be endless: raw 60’s R&B, rockabilly, garage, country, Tex-Mex. All that timelessly packaged and reminding one of Dylan, The Stones and The Band. After 2 albums The Strange Boys seem to be ready for bigger things (see too: all the prominent international press such as eg: Uncut ****).

We'll be opening with the Jacuzzi Boys from America. Their second album was recorded in a truck trailer, which created a very special vibe. Trashy and impelling sunshine-pop à la Wavves, Hunx & his punks, Ty Segall. The ‘Glazin’ video clip got more than a half million views in next to no-time.
