You probably now know the singles from this Irish trio by heart: 'We Cry' (their debut single), 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' and also 'Break Even'. They call it 'a new brand of Celtic Soul'. Think U2 vs Timbaland or Van Morrison remixed by Teddy Riley. Admittedly, The Script’s music sometimes contains the flow of hip hop, a hint of r'n'b and a considerable rock dynamic, but above all we hear pure pop melodies. Their debut of the same name is full of it. Ireland can be proud of this band. Leading music-site Kindamuzik has already written: 'A cast-iron debut'. Now on stage for the first time in our ABBox.

Support act for the The Script concert will be Englishman Gary Go, who also acts as opener for The Script in the UK. His debut is expected later in the year and was recorded in Woodstock, New York, Prague and London. Anything more to add, Mr. GARY GO? "I'll add some more text about me as soon as I figure out who I am." Ok. You can check out his www.iamwonderful.tv already. The man really does have the best intentions for this world.

Some quick impressions... Gary Go : one of the better crowd engaging performances of an opening act I've seen - NICE. The Script: I get the impression that the crowd gave The Script more than what the band offered in return. Very warm reception, everyone ready to have a *big party* - but The Script thought delivering a 43 minute performance (of which all songs were pretty close to their CD version - no special effort) was just fine, and added just 13 minutes in the encore section. Not exactly convincing to prove they are ready for bigger and better things... So: good concert - but the crowd was ready for a better show !

Concert inoubliable! l'ambiance était énorme , d'ailleurs même danny n'en revenait pas :D Gary go a assuré aussi ! Même eu l'honneur d'en rencontrer quelques un après le concert, d'ailleurs merci aux gardes qui sont bien sympathiques ! Bref journée exceptionnelle :)

Kmeron, your pictures are wonderful Oo ! C'était énorme, j'ai a-do-ré. La première partie était bien. Il met l'ambiance le chanteur. Puis The Script, c'était bien quoi ! Le batteur est super, pas tout le monde joue de la batterie, de la guitare et du chant en même temps. J'ai passé un super moment. Merci The Script =)

The band is not the best band perfoming in live but it's been a long time that I haven't have such a good time. Gary Go was fun and The Script amazing. Thanks Kmeron for your pics, they are wonderful. ^^

Gary Go: 3/10 - slechte klank, weinig talent, en zong vals ! Kan wel een publiek entertainen. The Script: 5/10- verschrikkelijk slechte klank, herkende bij de eerste 3 songs de nummers bijna niet, veel te veel echo ! Nadien werd dat beter, maar zeker nog niet genoeg ervaring voor de grote zaal van de AB...

C'est clair. A part les trucs genre Tokio Hotel et tout, pour les autres concerts, 2 heures à l'avance et c'est bon quoi! :-)

A mon avis j'irai au minimum vers 15-16h .. Vu que ce n'est pas non plus un groupe très très très très très connu il ne risque surement pas d'avoir une fille grande dès 14h ! (comme pour certains concerts xD) .. Maintenant reste à voir avec les heures du concert, quand on sera fixés se sera mieux :p

Nr 1 in England, uitgeroepen als beste nieuwkomer 2008 en waarschijnlik wordt dit een top- act in Werchter ! Als je de cd beluisterd is dit van het niveau van Radiohead en Muse en dat nu in avant premiere in de AB aan crisisprijs van 12 euro. Allen daarheen !!!
