Officially still incognito, or at least disguised in a gigantic eye: the original band has apparently been together for more than 30 years now and prefers to use this visual trademark.
The Residents are an experience, both in terms of music and theatre. Right up to and including amusing singles like 'Kaw-Liga', that Hank Williams cover that conspicuously refers to Billie Jean by Michael Jackson, plus compilations like 'Ten Little Pigies', 'Dogtag', 'Petting Zoo', or even more beastly titles like 'Animal Lovers' and 'Wormwood'.
Even more noteworthy: apparently their previous production 'The Bunny Boy' didn’t meet their own expectations, and thus was scrapped, but now the new one is here already: 'Talking Light Tour' (with the première on 21 January in Santa Cruz USA: have we identified a homebase after all?)
