Let's just situate her as a Kaleidoscopic Australian. Because the world would be a lot less colourful without Sia and we'd be forced to miss a lovely singer. You're sure to know Sia from her vocal capers with Zero 7!? But you'll also recognize her from catchy singles like 'Soon We'll Be Found' and now the enchanting 'You've Changed' with that cool, child-friendly clip.
There have already been four Sia albums released in the past decade, by the way, including the recent, richly coloured 'Some People Have Real Problems'. Serious title, indeed, with songs like 'The Girl You Lost To Cocaine' or 'Death By Chocolate', but also with the The Pretenders song 'I Go To Sleep' and taking it easy with 'Beautiful Calm Driving' and 'Lullaby'.
Pleasant songs with a very playful voice plus even a superb tour bus apparently: everything to do with Sia would seem to be super endearingly artistic. In the meantime be sure to also take your kids along to her site. (Or leave them there during the concert?)

Support act will be Harper Simon, who has just released a very mature untitled debut CD (here via PIAS). The CD wants to sound like an LP: with songs that belong together, produced by Bob Johnston (see: Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash), and even father Paul Simon participates in a few songs. In Britain's Uncut magazine it immediately received 4 stars in the 'Debuts' department - The Best New Music!
