'Do The 45'!That was the big hit, of course. 'This Is Ryan Shaw', that's the brand new, soulful debut CD from this fresh American talent. Ryan Shaw is from Decatur, Georgia, USA, learned to sing at church, later with a gospel musical tour or as 'resident artist' in a Motown Café, and recently he could also be heard with the Fabulous Soul Shakers... Just to let you know: the man can sing and learned how to with the right soulmates. Genuine soul, for those (like Ryan himself) who also enjoy Wilson Pickett, Jackie Wilson, Bobby Womack... Ryan Shaw doesn't avoid a fiery version of 'We Shall Overcome' or 'Amazing Grace' either. This year he was on the bills of Northsea and Peer, he toured as support act to (you read right) Van Halen, his 'We Got Love' was prominent on the soundtrack of Wong Kar Wai's 'My Blueberry Nights' and he received a Grammy Nomination for 'I Am Your Man'.
