About this concert
Our favourite British observer finally returns. The great talent that continues to cheer us with pop gems like: 'Lola', 'Waterloo Sunset', 'Sunny Afternoon', 'You Really Got Me', 'Dead End Street', 'All Day And All Of The Night', 'Victoria', 'Dedicated Follower Of Fashion', 'Till The End Of The Day', 'Set Me Free', 'I Go To Sleep', 'Tired Of Waiting', 'Celluloid Heroes', 'Come Dancing', 'A Well Respected Man', 'David Watts', 'Mister Pleasant'... All absolute Kinks classics and Ray Davies is the impressive performer behind them.
As of the sixties, this British star-storyteller was serious competition for the Rolling Stones and other Beatles. Furthermore: he was most likely already the brightest and sharpest pop-rock chronicler (see too: his ultra personal Storyteller project.)
Returning to the AB after four years, with these more recent releases in the meantime: the 'Kinks Choral Collection' and 'Collected', a compilation of Ray's solo work.
Ray Davies? Fa fa fa faaa faa fa fa faaa & la laa la laaaa loooola etcetera... Excellent sing-along storytelling!
