PLAN B @ AB ! Britain's Plan B is undoubtedly the hottest soul-rock sensation of the moment. You're sure to know single 'She Said (I love you boy I love you so...ow ow ow ow oow...)'. That song is just one of the many impressive or heart-breaking songs on 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks', the new CD from Atlantic that, quite rightly, went straight to the top of the UK hit parade immediately after release!
'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks' is recommended listening on every level: the vocals are heavenly, the production is bursting with fresh details, and those who like their CDs to contain a stirring story will be will be completely content (or will start searching for the film of the same name?)
The crux of Plan B is great (white) talent Ben Drew: author and interpreter (and actor and rapper with a fruitful fascination for Michael Jackson and Eminem.) 'Who Needs Actions When You Got Words' was his significant debut in 2006, which already received sufficient interest and especially controversy at the time. Plan B is then also well-directed music with a keen style and hard content. Those mad about timeless soul-rock, about both Smokey Robinson and Amy Winehouse, well, they'll be heading to Plan B @ AB on Friday 26 November!

Bon concert en général. quelques cuivres auraient élevé encore le niveau. Je regrette que sur certains morceaux, la voix était "bouffée" par la musique. Mais bien tout de même.

't was kort maar krachtig! Echt goed optreden, met ideale opwarmer (goeie dj), beatboxer was subliem, en leuk einde door samenwerking Plan B en Faith SFX!

tof concertje, met heel wat variatie op muziekaal gebied. Die gasten kunnen wel degelijk een stukje muziek spelen. Deze gasten zijn blijkbaar op alle marken thuis. Van de beatbox tot faith no more-toestanden. enige -puntje vond ik het te traag op gang komen van de nummers zelf. Ging van traag naar ....... Zeker de x-tra tijd was great.
