41 Year-old American guitarist Paul Gilbert is a phenomenon. He started his career with the metal band RACER X and later moved to the hardrockers of MR. BIG. Since he left this last band in 1997 to work on a solo career he has released about 10 albums. Earlier this year his second instrumental album 'Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar' landed in the shops. An album where superior technique goes hand-in-hand with rock, funk, jazz and blues songs.

Together with Joe Satriani, Gilbert was part of the legendary G3 tour of 2007 and with the previously mentioned Satriani, Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen he figures prominantly in the list of Most Impressive Guitarists on the Planet.


In the afternoon Paul Gilbert will be giving a unique 2-hour workshop for a limited number of guitarists.
