‘Fireflies’ was of course that megahit by America's Owl City, the project of musician Adam Young. At the time he was often compared musically with The Postal Service (the indietronica project of Death Cab For Cutie singer Ben Gibbard and producer Jimmy Tamborello from Dntel) but then with a distinct pop-chart feel. Young made his synthpop in the basement of his parent's house and then spread it via social-network site MySpace. His songs were so popular that Universal Music promptly offered him a lucrative contract. He released his third album ‘Ocean Eyes’ on that major label in 2009, on it you can find the aforementioned ‘Fireflies’. We just recently saw the release of ‘Alligator Sky’, the first single from album ‘All Things Bright And Beautiful’ which should be out on June 14. On that album Young experiments less with electronica and works with guitar and piano too.

Owl City will bring along 2 support acts.

British duo Long Lost Sun consists of Sarah Russell and Jethro East and makes alternative but sugary-sweet pop songs. They also provided a nice remix of Owl City’s ‘Umbrella Beach’.
Unicorn Kid is the nom de plume of young Scottish producer Oliver Sabin. He makes 8-bit dance music (think first-generation video game soundtracks) with a big wink to genres like dubstep. Has already shared stages with an extremely diverse list of musicians like Crystal Castles, Hadouken! and Pet Shop Boys. He's also provided official remixes for the Pet Shop Boys and for Gorillaz.

Un océan de fraîcheur , 3 filles aussi jolies que douées musicalement ,instrumentalement , 3 guys "mignons " et excellents musiciens , une pêche d'enfer et un style "base"romantique , un son impeccable ....une ambiance au top , Le groupe adore la Belgique .il le dit et le répète..le public belge leur a bien rendu , un concert adorable ......

Breanne Düren was geweldig! Wist dat ze kon zingen, maar had het niet zo goed verwacht. Zeer bescheiden, maar toch wist ze op een of andere manier toch het publiek aan het 'dansen' te krijgen. Heb Owl City vorig jaar gezien, en deze keer was echt meer dan een miljoen keer beter! Het is duidelijk dat Adam zich veel beter voelt op het podium en dat hij zich echt amuseert. De energie die hij in dit optreden stak, ging zeker niet onopgemerkt voorbij aan het publiek. Hij kreeg werkelijk iedereen mee. Ik vond ook de vrolijke violisten zeer tof :-) Hopelijk komt hij terug naar België op zijn volgende tour!

Très beau concert! Entre rêve et énergie monstre, j'étais contente d'y être =D! Et un écossais sur scène et au stand dans le couloir, ça fait ma joie ^^

C'était juste MAGNIFIQUE ! J'ai adoré , l'ambiance était géniale ! J'espère vraiment qu'il reviendra l'année prochaine ! Bravo Adam !

C'était génial!! Franchement chapeau bas à Adam qui a franchement fait du bon boulot!! C'est juste dommage que le temps d'attente entre le premier et le second groupe était aussi long! sinon, parfait!

I was given 2 tickets for this concert by my daughter for Mother's Day, but now she cannot make it. I don't want to sell the extra ticket. I just need a chaperone to go the concert. I don't mind being the Worm, if you will be my Bird ... :-)
