Milow can quite definitely be listed as one of our hardest working and most internationally successful performers. He's played 300 concerts in 20 different lands over the past 3 years, including sold-out venues in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Luxembourg, Madrid, Zurich, Montreal, Vienna and Stockholm. On top of that, Jonathan Vandenbroeck has also finished enough songs for a new album, which will be released in spring. The title of his third and long-awaited studio album is ‘North and South’ and he produced it himself, together with Jo Francken. What's more, in the liner notes we see contributions from Arne ‘Styrofoam’ Van Petegem and Scottish singer-songwriter duo Martin & James. That album will be released all over Europe and in Quebec and will later also be available in England, the United States, Australia and Latin-America. Milow is indeed still that talented singer-songwriter who combines folk with acoustic pop. His unmistakable voice, fascinating stories and stage presence make him one of our greater performers. He's coming to publicly present the new album live, with 2 concerts in the AB on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 April.

Following a first success with the single ‘You Don’t Know’, the international breakthrough came with his much talked about version of 50 Cent's ‘Ayo Technology’. The song totalled 340 weeks in the charts of 14 countries. A good 2 years later and the counters in Europe and Canada show sales of 650,000 albums and more than 1 million singles. Milow's albums and singles have spent time in the upper regions of the charts in France, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Portugal, Finland, Spain, and also Canada. In homeland Belgium, Milow is also record-holder of the Music Industry Awards (M.I.A.’s), with 8 trophies, including 2 for ‘song of the year’. It was just recently announced that the first single from the new album, ‘Never Gonna Stop’ will be the campaign song for Music For Life, Studio Brussel's yearly fund-raising effort.

Support act for both Milow shows will be Scottish singer-songwriter duo Martin & James. In 2008 they were picked up by Universal Germany and since then they've mainly been working out of Berlin and Hamburg. Their particular work methods earned then collaborations with Albert Hammond, Fran Healy (from Travis) and Iain Archer (Snow Patrol, The Reindeer Section). This year they'll finally be releasing a proper debut album. Martin Kelly and James O’Neill also provided a guest contribution to the new Milow album and as a result Milow has invited them to perform for both AB concerts.
