DOMINO: HUMPTY DUMPTY RECORDS PRESENTS MIÈLE + BOY AND THE ECHO CHOIR + CARL + Y.E.R.M.O.

Matamore and Stilll/off are only two of the indie-labels from Brussels to be featured at Domino in the past. This year it's the turn of HUMPTY DUMPTY RECORDS, which describes itself as a ‘DIY label based in Brussels’ and has been operating since ’06. Their stables contain diverse acts including the likes of Tazio & Boy, Tangtype, K-Branding, Lionel Solveigh , Françoiz Breut, Carl, … The label now has about ten releases to its name, some of which really stand out due to the striking artwork by Astrid Yskout (sic). Present on the evening will be:

8:00 pm Y.E.R.M.O.
.... have been dealing in dark, ambient noise and post-industrial music since '04. This duo consists of Xavier Dubois & Yannick Franck and their latest release on Humpty Dumpty is titled ‘From Gold Falls A Bad Rain’.

9:00 pm CARL
His debut ‘Où Poser Des Yeux?’ received positively raving reviews in the French speaking part of our country. Would you read along with us? "...Un chef d’oeuvre. En tout cas, ça faisait un bail que je n’avais pas entendu de la chanson française aussi libérée, pointue, provocatrice." (Rif Raf). Or also: "Oscillant entre jazz, hip-hop et chanson française, le monde de Carl est d’une richesse intarissable" (Goûte mes disques). Live, Carl always plays in his own world or better: a cardboard decor that he especially designed himself.

10:00 pm BOY AND THE ECHO CHOIR
BOY = ½ of French duo TAZIO AND BOY. They also run the micro CD-R label My Little Cab Records that has already struck up twenty or so releases (mainly their own).
Boy’s latest album: ‘And The Night Arrives In One Giant Step’ (following two previously released CD-Rs) was released via Humpty Dumpty Records. Containing collaboration from – they would seem to be inseparable - Tazio and members of Soy Un Caballo. Beautiful and bewitching.

11:00 pm MIÈLE
A band from Brussels that is diligently working on a second album: ‘Le Jour et La Nuit’. It is to be released this spring and, according to insiders, it sounds less rock and more pop. Live with members of Ghinzu and Soy un Caballo.
