Welsh band Lostprophets announces their comeback with the single ‘Better Off Dead’. The new album ‘Weapons’ will be in stores as of April 2 and, of course, that is associated with an extensive tour during which this sixsome will stop by the AB for the first time. What's more the album was mixed by Ken Andrews, who we know from his work with Jimmy Eat World and Beck.
 
With various Top 10 hits in their homeland and 5 million albums sold worldwide, the band is an established name. What's more, with the singles ‘Last Train Home’ and ‘Can’t Catch Tomorrow’ to their name, they have also obtained many awards like Best Metal Act (NME 2002) and Best British Band (Kerrang! 2007). Belgian audiences have confirmed their affection for Lostprophets during concerts at festivals like Rock Werchter, Groezrock and Pukkelpop and in venues like Trix and Vooruit. A new date now, in the AB on Monday 7 May.

Support-act will be British rock band Young Guns. Their second album ‘Bones’ has just been released. Previously toured Europe with Danko Jones, Enter Shikari, All Time Low (in AB) and now with Lostprophets.

Super concert, chouette ambiance, belle prescence sur scène pr Lostprophets, sinon bof pour le son des Young Guns... Problème technique ou humain ???

Excellent =D j'ai bien sauté, un peu perdu ma voix, reçu de l'eau venant de la scène et j'ai eu mes autographes de Young Guns =D être au premier rang, c'est le must <3

Bon show, même remarque que celui d'en dessous concernant Young Guns (pas sur si la faute revient à l'ingé son ou non). Par contre Lostprophets a assuré même si j'aurai bien aimé un "Sway" ou "We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan", qu'ils ont joué quelques jours auparavant chez les britanniques.

C'était pas mal. Une setlist un peu trop orientée vers les nouveaux albums bien moins bon, mais ça allait. En live ils assurent toujours bien. Sinon coup de gueule envers Young Guns, dont la voix était absolument horrible, au départ on a cru que l'ingé son était mauvais, mais non, c'était juste le chanteur qui ne sait plus chanter en live...Dommage.

Daar heb ik geen idee van... Voorlopig heeft enkel Young Guns zich bevestigd. Ik vermoed in ieder geval niet dat we nog andere min of meer bekende voorprogramma's moeten verwachten.
