La Vampires (us)
Behind La Vampires you will find 100% Silk founder Amanda Beth Brown. We then know her from Pocahaunted and as co-CEO of the intriguing Not Not Fun Records. La Vampires now has four albums to her name, including collaborations with Zola Jesus, Matrix Metals and Ital. She creates her sound with slowed down cassettes, a boombox and muffled voices.
 
Ital
Ital is the alter-ego of Daniel Martin-McCormick who we know as ½ of the post-punk/no-wave Mi AMI. His debut ‘Hive Mind’ was just recently released via Planet Mu records and immediately received a fine **** review in De Standaard, that wrote: “Absurd, strange but yet danceable and even sexy. An achievement.”
 
Maria Minerva
Maria Minerva operates from out of London but was born in Estonia. Maria Minerva is the project of Maria Juur who attempts to convert her bedroom ballads into dirty lingering and dreamy dance tracks. Personally she refers to them as sensual songs with an intellectual disposition.

Magic Touch
Forms the no-wave/post-punk band Mi Ami together with Ital. Magic Touch is drummer Damon Palermo who last year released his debut EP ‘I Can Feel The Heat’, a collage of funk and house. Just the thing for fans of 808 State to Azari & III.
