Kyteman! For free! Hip! Hip hop! Big! Big band! Soul! Soulworld! Plus all of that for free on this Car-Free Sunday in the Steenstraat, between AB and Café Bonnefooi. (The exact time of the show is yet to be announced!)
Kyteman is that Dutch soul hip-hop sensation who opened for Ghostface Killah in the AB in early 2009, who will help to fill the stage of a sold-out Rock Werchter 2010 and who has displayed a phenomenal live-reputation in the meantime.
Kyteman is the bold project of a young Colin Benders who worked on his solo debut for years, saw and heard many musician friends come and go and then finally came out with 'The Hermit Sessions' CD, but especially also with a surprising live-band of about 20 musicians: violins, cello, horns, keys, bass, drums and percussion plus singers, rappers, MCs... and, in the middle, the well-aimed trumpet of mister Kyteman himself.
