‘Almost Bangor’, the latest Novastar album, was released four years after the majestic ‘Another Lonely Soul’ . But even so, the wait wasn't that bad because ‘Almost Bangor’, as it is known to all, is Joost Zweegers’ best to date. With world-class singles like ‘Mars Needs Woman’, ‘Because’ and ‘Tunnelvision’ and not a single weak spot to be found. Joost clearly wasn't lying when he released the single ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ in 2000.

Following a number of successful performances with band in larger halls and at festivals (from Pinkpop to Dranouter), it's now high time to have the intimate songs from ‘Almost Bangor’ resound solo - in all their simplicity. Everyone who has been paying attention knows that ‘Novastar’ and ‘Joost Zweegers’ are synonyms. During the ‘Le Tour Bangor’ you will hear a faithful rendition of how the songs from the last album sounded when they were created, on the island Bangor! So this is a unique opportunity to see this very exceptional songsmith in the intimacy of the theatre.
