After a career of 12 years, they're still considered to be dance music pioneers. Andy Cato and Tom Findlay have reinvented themselves and now reconfirm their status as ground-breaking musicians. They strike hard with their sixth CD 'Black Light' and we could say that Groove Armada has undergone a transformation that will surprise their fans, to say the least.
In 1999 this duo flooded the radio-waves with 'I See You Baby (shakin' that ass)', remixed by Mr Fatboy Slim himself. The one hit followed the other and their success led to the release of a Best Of in 2004. The most impressive factor, however, was and is their live concerts: famous for the fantastic vibe and for the impeccable quality. The two accomplices always invite top class MCs and musicians for their tours. Just remember Pukkelpop 2007 and their show in the AB that same year.
Guide for 'Black Light' is the song 'Warsaw', in which a strong and dark electro-rock dominates and the voice of Nick Littelmore (Empire of the Sun) is expressed at its best. Andy and Tom, mad about collaborations, have worked with none less than Bryan Ferry for the occasion. Groove Armada is heading back out on the road to meet their audience once again!
