About this concert

Its pretty difficult not to be a fan of Grant Lee Buffalo. We still cherish his classic albums ‘Fuzzy’ (’93) and ‘Mighty Joe Moon’ (’94). But we're not the only ones, as they were towed out on tour by R.E.M., Pearl Jam and also The Smashing Pumpkins at the time . Their sound always landed at the crossroads of rock, folk and country. In ’98 Grant Lee Buffalo ceased to exist and frontman Grant-Lee Phillips went solo.
Since then he has released a handful of solo-albums, of which the most recent one ‘Little Moon’ has suddenly raised eyebrows. Knack wrote of it: "Songs of a quality that Philips has too infrequently attained in past years." Or Humo: "It's been 15 years since Phillips sounded so convincing.". We're pleased to welcome Grant-Lee Philips back to our fine Belgium after such a long time.
