DRAGONS OF ZYNTH + TV BUDDHAS + WOMEN
 
Dragons of Zynth surprised many a dazed listener with an impressively energetic concert during the previous Kraakfestival in Recyclart in March. The retro-futuristic Dragons maintain a musical openness that leans toward TV On The Radio, something evidenced by their original mixture of psychedelic space-rock, soul and West-African polyrhythm. Their first record was produced by Dave Sitek from TVOTR too.

Women from Canada have an album out that was produced by Chad Van Gaalen. He also released it right away on his own label, called Flemish Eye. Their sound has already been compared with mutilated sunny Beach Boys pop, but they like to refer to The Velvet Underground or The Zombies just as much. 
TV Buddhas is a heated Israeli duo with her, Evil Haring, on drums and him, Mickey Killer, on guitar. Together they reinvent rock 'n' roll, shaking and loud, dripping with sex and psychedelica. Basically: animals on stage and that’s how we like it.
