Dawes is a tightly rocking American foursome. They already accompanied Robbie Robertson at Jools' as he considers them to be 'a true band'! The Dawes sound is also well-suited to other legendary bands like, indeed, The Band, Crosby Stills Nash & Young... The Times apparently even wrote that 'the super-tight LA outfit have picked up where the Eagles left off ****.'
Following on from ‘North Hills’, we now have the impeccable ‘Nothing Is Wrong’ CD, recorded in analogue under the direction of the unsurpassable Jonathan Wilson (see too: his divine ABClub concert in November 2011) and with collaboration by Benmont -Heartbreakers- Tench plus even Jackson Browne!
Dawes has already toured with Bright Eyes, M. Ward, Brett Dennen, Alison Krauss, Blitzen Trapper... Now they finally land in the ABClub too!

Support-act will be brand new country singer-songwriter star Robert Ellis and we'll just quote his agent here: 'The support for Dawes will be the wonderful Robert Ellis. I am very happy about this as I have been trying to get Robert to Europe for a long time. He was by far the best artist I saw at SXSW last year. He is 21 years old from Texas and half James Taylor/ half George Jones. His LP will be released by New West/ADA on Feb 18th.' Aha & yihaaa!
