Ben Kowalewicz, frontman to one of Canada’s greatest rock 'n' roll successes since the turn of the century, is convinced that the new Billy Talent album ‘III’ is the best to date. For this masterpiece they got a hold of top producer Brendan O’Brien, who recently added Bruce Springsteen and AC/DC to his already impressive track-record (Pearl Jam! Soundgarden!). From their previous album, titled ‘II’ (you've already got the hang of the simple choice of album titles?), the single ‘Fallen Leaves’ was a fine step toward a bigger audience here. This foursome from Ontario's punk-rock has been inspired by many according to Kowalewicz: ‘We were really influenced by punk rock, rock and roll, hip hop and reggae, and punk bands like The Clash, the Pistols, the Buzzcocks and later on Fugazi. There have definitely been some punk bands that have influenced us’. So look forward to this undoubtedly brilliant concert.
