Heavy bets are being placed on new revelation Balthazar in 2010. From the start, their mature songwriting and explosive stage presence have been their best attributes and so they won a whole series of talent searches (topped off by the audience price at HUMO’s Rock Rally 2006). Their debut singles ‘This Is A Flirt’ and ‘Bathroom Lovin’ Situations’ each displayed the many qualities of a great band in the making. Their debut will be released in March and on it Balthazar – euh – flirts with a completely different sound but are still ingenious as ever (take a listen to the new single ‘Fifteen Floors’).
