American band Alkaline Trio is a trio that has been writing intense punk-rock songs for more than 10 years. You can find those songs on 6 studio albums of which 3 for the Vagrant label, and their most recent ‘Agony & Irony’ is available here via V2. Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Adriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums) also wrote the new single ‘Help Me’ together and have managed to superbly cross punk-rock ethics with the emo approach of Jimmy Eat World or Death Cab For Cutie. This summer they cancelled their Pukkelpop concert but fans finally get their second chance on Thursday 22 January in the AB.

We'll be opening with the power pop-punk of Broadway Calls. This band from the United States has just recently re-released their debut on Adeline Records, the label of Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day.
