Addicted Kru Sound (AKS) originated in Leuven's drum & bass scene as a DJ act. After a tour of America they decided to start experimenting with dubstep. Leuven is a small world, and that became apparent when it turned out that – then unknown – Sanne Putseys (you now know her as Selah Sue) was interested in working with them on their live-project. Addikted Kru Sound abbreviated their name: AKS live was born! Soon they were invited to make official remixes for Steed Lord, Sound of Stereo and Wu-Tang Clan. In the summer of 2010 AKS played all the best festivals, knocking the socks off Dour, Laundry Day and Pukkelpop. Tight bass-lines, heated beats, a touch of soul and an awful lot of energy is what you can expect of their live set. An E.P. Will be released by Forma.T records at the end of the year.

Those interested in drum & bass know that Netsky is the latest star in the heavens. The DJ from Edegem only needed a year to work his way up from his studio-annex-bedroom to super-DJ status. His method (melancholy melodies wrapped in leaden bass and beats) is infectious and provided him with a contract on esteemed English label Hospital and you can now find him on line-ups in London, Moscow and Indonesia. Following a succulent ‘Black & Blue’ remix for Miike Snow, Netsky scored a hit again with ‘Moving With You (feat. Jenna G)’ and was chosen by Studio Brussel listeners as the best DJ of the moment. Respect!

Our refreshing structural partner mentioned in the name has arranged 9 extra Club concerts from the '09-'10 season on to support young national and international talent, and before an attractive, young crowd. We wrote in the first press release: ‘Will we discover the artist today who, in a few years, will bring Herman Schueremans’ garden party to a close’? That paragraph turned out to be visionary, as both Balthazar and Customs were on the Rock Werchter stage this summer.
