In our book, Adam Green would already have been a superstar a long time ago. He's been that for a while now in Germany – for just this once, we completely agree with our eastern neighbours – and he often plays for (disproportionately large and) sold-out venues. As far as we're concerned, Adam Green is the ideal anti-hero. A slacker who makes perfectly crafted pop songs and writes lyrics that are just as absurdly catchy as they are socially critical and touching.
Green took his first steps in New York's anti-folk movement as member of The Moldy Peaches (see also: the likes of Kimya Dawson), who quasi made the soundtrack of the film ‘Juno’ at the time. Green has worked solo since palindrome year 2002, and released 6 albums on the prominent Rough Trade label. His latest ‘Minor Love’ will be released just after New Year.
Green has already been a Domino guest, in ’06 (at the side of Emiliana Torrini) and ’08 (at the side of Soko) respectively, and made quite an impression each time. Welcome back Adam, for what we call ‘third time lucky’!

Support act will be the Americans Jukebox The Ghost, who bear considerable likenesses to piano-trio Ben Folds Five. Spin wrote of them: "a refreshing reminder that the light-hearted electricity of a fantastic pop song is still filled with live wires."
