Enthralling & enduring songs from a rejuvenated Tine Reymer
We were already a Tine Reymer fan from hearing the perfect pop that she made together with Tom Pintens for Flowers For Breakfast. Her role in the mambo collective El Tattoo Del Tigre (good for many a sold-out AB) also fitted her like a glove and she bowled us over from the AB stage with her all female band Billie King too.
Now there is Reymer. Her most refined, most personal and most mature project so far. Her voice sounds better than ever. The instrumentation is sparing. The point of departure is pop, but then of the timeless sort and with a touch of Americana. We're envious, she's working with top musicians like Tom Pintens, Aarich Jespers (Zita Swoon), Pieter Van Buyten (Flip Kowlier). Welcome back Tine, our red carpet is heading off to the dry-cleaner right now!
