Provocative & intoxicating, dreamy pop gems from California
âHer songs are challenging, expansive and cinematic, turning minimalist melodies on their heads and redefining the limits of pop.â (Q Magazine)
âThis is wild music, an immediate pop whirl that should make Holterâs genius apparent to all.â (NME)
âEen kroonjuweel, niet minder dan lichtjes fantastisch, speels en toch verdiepend. Een begenadigd artiest schuilt in haar.â (Enola)
âHave You In My Wildernessâ, the fourth album by Californian, classically schooled pianist/singer Julia Holter, will be launched into the dream-pop heavens at the end of September 2015 â again via the outstanding Domino Records. For this issue, Holter took a little more time than for her previous three generally praised longplayers and dove into the bedroom for a year, again with sound-architect Cole M. Greif-Neill - who already earned his stripes (and Grammy Awards) with Ariel Pinkâs Haunted Graffiti, Beck, Caribou and with spouse Ramona Gonzalez or Nite Jewel.
