In 2007, for the first time in Europe, the AB brought Iceland’s Bedroom Community collective to Belgium (for Domino) and The Netherlands (for Motel Mozaique). The result: the revelation of a charming, musically like-minded – but, individually, considerably differing – family that crosses borders both territorially as well as musically. We now see AB & Bedroom Community’s musical passion being picked up worldwide…

BEN FROST - ‘By The Throat’:  amazing album
We just recently received a promo-copy of the second BEN FROST album for Bedroom Community. Suddenly we found ourselves noting the following, in an email to a colleague friend: “Downright brilliant second album by Ben Frost on Iceland’s Bedroom Community label and immediately one of the albums of this year. ‘By The Throat’ is a real piece of art. Purified, threatening, cinemascopic pieces of music that literally grab your shirt-front. Majestic beauty with barbs of stubbornness and fear.” We’ve not yet gotten over it …

2010 looks like becoming a musically impressive year …
Via, via, we’ve already been able to take a sneak peek at the scheduled releases that 2010 has in store for us. New signing is composer, DANIEL BJARNASSON. New albums are to be released by our favourite troubadour SAM AMIDON (in February), VALGEIR SIGURDSON (with his soundtrack for ‘Dreamland’) and NICO MUHLY (in September 2010) .
