Europe’s most important music conference and showcase festival, Eurosonic (www.eurosonic.nl), will take place in Groningen (NL) from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 January 2010. For three days, Groningen’s inner city will be flooded by 250 new and remarkable acts, and 2650 professionals from the European music industry. During the day there are many readings and presentations to attend. Including from two of our AB colleagues. On Thursday 14 January, David Zegers (communications and development director) explains the role of the AB website and the AB community during a session about "The power of communities". Why does the AB utilise social media, how does this happen and which changes have resulted in the past year and a half (since the re-launch of the website in September 2009)? On Friday 15 January, Marc Vrebos (technical director) explains the ecological route that the AB has followed in past years. After all, the actions taken have led to substantial savings, which has made it possible to make additional investments in order to realise future ecological ambitions. All aspects of building management are covered. All information about these sessions can be found on www.eurosonic.nl/nl/conference/programma/
