AB Café/Resto is collecting money for Kom Op Tegen Kanker

Just like last year, AB Café/Resto is taking part in the 1000km Kom Op Tegen Kanker (KOTK). They've now grown into 3 teams, godfathered by Belgian rocker Arno. Our teams have to gather a total of around 15,000 euro in order to be able to take part in the good cause.

All sorts of appeals are also being undertaken in AB to collect this sum. Normally when you return your drink cup you receive a 20 cent deposit back. When you kindly decline the deposit it goes straight to the campaign. The KOTK money-box has already raised 4000 euro like this!

Another advantage that our teams can make the most of is their musical background. Amongst other things, AB Café/Resto is offering concert photos by Alex Vanhee for sale, as well as an autographed enlargement of a The National album cover. Lastly, there are also gadgets for cycling-lovers being sold in the AB Café: things like Tom Boonen's autographed green jersey and a Belgian Championship helmet, as well as Bettini's autographed World Championship jersey. The signed photos are of the likes of Selah Sue, Milow, Arsenal, Das Pop, Arno/Eddy Merckx, Yevgueni,Queens of the Stone Age... and there are more to be added to the list!
