AB Artists In Residence The Sedan Vault and Selah Sue!

AB Artists In Residence The Sedan Vault and Selah Sue have several exciting weeks behind them and also a whole lot of plans ahead. Their concerts at the leading European showcase festival Eurosonic in Groningen are underlined in their diaries. Selah Sue will play in the VSPA hall on Thursday 15 January at 10:40 pm. On Friday 16 January its the turn of The Sedan Vault at 9:30 pm in Huize Maas.

On 3 November The Sedan Vault launched their brilliant new CD ‘Vanguard’ in a packed ABClub. Not only those present but also the complete press had to admit to being won over.

HUMO: (***) ‘A feverish thriller … packaged in rock which was as equally fanciful as it was burning with ambition. So much quality in only 37 minutes: who can better The Sedan Vault?’.
De Morgen: (****) ‘Vanguard, in which each song presents a chapter from a film noir, is quite simply more coherent, more palatable and more exciting than The Bedlam in Goliath from The Mars Volta’.
Rif Raf: ‘Impressive. However, those who are consciously looking for points of reference in this mayhem, will also swallow references such as Battles and The Residents without batting an eyelid.’
Studio Brussel: ‘The second album from The Sedan Vault is a bomb’.

Their new video-clip for the song Unidentified Flying Subjects has just recently been released. View it here.

The album is for sale in digital format here and currently also available for sale in a limited pressing of gatefold 180 gram vinyl via Funtime Records.
Be sure to view the unsettled AB Session that the band recorded.

Selah Sue just walked out of the AB Studio with 6 songs under her arm. You can find them on an EP that is only available for sale after her concerts. She’s currently still touring extensively through Belgium with Milow. During the Red Bull Sound Clash, Selah Sue seriously reworked Duffy’s ‘Mercy’, together with Triggerfinger. View the result here.

Most recently she played live with band at the Hilfiger Sessions, yet another goosebump moment..

Those who’d like to see her from a different angle can here view a recording in which she gets a dubstep and ragga party going, together with the Addicted Kru Sound.
